This room was the room that made me really excited to get my hands on this 1970s home! I loved the wood on the ceilings and the fireplace. When we bought the home, I had no idea what we would do to the fireplace, and it turned out better than I could have ever imagined! We did a plaster treatment to the fireplace, bleached the mantle, added wood floor, pickled the ceilings, moved the stairs, and painted the walls a bright white. It is my favorite room in the house.
